If any one side character deserves to have their partner back, it's this poor girl. Jeri may deserve it just a bit more given all the traumatic crap she had to go through, but Alice here had a freaking Ken moment where she gets to hold her partner as the deletion finalizes!
Seriously, the Sovereign go out of their way to create a digimon who can endow the tamers and their partners with their greatest weapon in the battle against the D-Reaper. Couldn't they have figured out a way for Dobermon to grant that ability without killing himself?! For that matter, why even bother pair-bonding Alice and Dobermon in the first place; I genuinely can't remember how that all worked!
